Richard K. Thomas, PhD, is vice president of Health and Performance Resources and has been involved in healthcare market research and consultation with hospitals, clinics, health plans, and other healthcare organizations in both the public and private sectors for more than 30 years. He is an adjunct faculty member of The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and the University of Mississippi and is a fellow of the Center for Population Studies at the University of Mississippi. He previously served as the editor of Marketing Health Services, the healthcare journal of the American Marketing Association.

Richard K. Thomas lives in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, with his wife, Marilyn. Richard and his wife have three grown children, Andrew, Kenneth, and Bethany. The Resurrected Ones was originally intended to be a story for his children. Over the years it grew into lengthy manuscript, which has now been published. He served as a program director and CEO of several programs that served youthful offenders. While living in Alaska, he served in administrative roles in youth programs located in Dot Lake, Nome, and Kodiak. In 1997, he and his wife had an opportunity to relocate back east. He has lived in Kentucky ever since, and he serves as a Program Administrator with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Dr. Thomas' book on healthcare marketing. A "must have" resource whether one is pursuing a degree in healthcare administration, teaching a course in healthcare marketing or working in the field as a marketing professional.

This book has lots of information regarding marketing and the history of marketing. It wasn't that interesting to me but very informative.

This is required textbook for marketing at GWU. The book is easy to read and quite comprehensive. It is been very helpful to understand healthcare marketing.

It was my first experience with renting a book. The quality was not good, lot of high light but more crappy writing in some very important area of the book. Will not do rental again.
