I read these back in the day and I was thinking about them, the sweet trilogy based on 3 archetypes of romance hero - the cowboy, the pirate, and the adventurer. The women are more or less the same, but the men are deliciously different and although the whole thing has a very 80's vibe, that's part of its charm now. Pleased that it has been released as an omnibus, and pleased that Amazon could locate it for me. I liked JAK a lot when she was writing these books and am happy to include these in my permanent collection

All three stories are good. Story of friends and the men they find. If you're going to read this book you have to remember it's an earlier work and a bit different from what she writes now. Nonetheless, I do enjoy her books, old or new.

I wanted a new copy, but considering that these stories were originally published in 1990,y expectations are too high. Book is in decent shape, if a little ragged.

I have only finished "The Pirate" and liked it so well that I am reading it again before I go to the next two stories. This story makes you feel like you are actually on a tropical island vacation and this is happening to you. I could hardly put it down.

I can't wait to read the next two stories. I hope they are as wonderful as the first.

I enjoyed reading all three stories. That the three heroines were friends made it even more fun.

I love most everything Jayne/Amanda/Stephanie, and this is one from 1990. Three separate stories of three friends looking for relaxation/family treasure/second chances and finding love. Some days I just need a "sweet" read, nothing heavy or scary, and this fits the bill. Thought it was out of print, but not on Amazon : )

Three old novels. Some great, other less. A bit outdated but Krentz always wrote well.
I preferred the first story of the three friends romances.
