This is my favorite manga . I enjoyed each and every book in the Fruits Basket series, as well as the anime. The artwork was great from the beginning, but I kind of liked how it grew to match the anime as the series progressed. The story...ahhh, the story. The paranormal elements were excellent, Kyo's curse was intriguing and the love story is one of my favorites. I highly recommend this to anyone who's curious to try a manga series, starting (of course) with volume 1.

I've been a long time fan of this series, and desperately searched for a copy of this volume to complete my collection. I was lucky to find a seller selling it for under $300 (yikes), and the condition was great in my personal opinion. No tears, stains, or tabs folded. Just signs of aging which is to be expected.

the development in both the characters and story will really take you back.

great for kids and adults. the struggles the main character goes through are
very relate-able and in an easy way to understand. the anime is great aswell

I love it, perfect for someone who is collecting the whole series but trying to keep it cheap. aka buying used ones but in very good condition. Very happy and a perfect way to end the series.

I've been reading Fruits Basket for most of my adult life, so this last volume really felt like a major milestone for me. But the story closed up neatly, with enough established that I can be happy for my characters, but not so much I felt the author ruined the ending. All in all, a good ending for one of the greatest manga stories I've ever read.

What a great way to wrap up an incredible series! Fruits Basket has always been dear to my heart and I am incredibly glad to finally own every volume. If for whatever reason you haven't let this book into your life yet, I definitely recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The most worth waiting for ever!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 14, 2009
Ok, so I started reading fruits basket volume 1 about a year and a half ago before I realised that the series was incomplete. So it has been a long journey while waiting for each new book to come out, but it was well worth it and if anything just increased the amount I loved this whole series. But getting to the main point, this book had to have one of the best ever "no loose ends" books ever, you know the ones, where there are in-conclusions all over the shop. Well this one pretty much wrapped up every story and gave you a glimpse into the future of the main characters by the end. Utterly heart renching that it finished and that it ended on such a note (a happy one I might add). I thoroughly recommend it!!!
