This odd little book from England has a decidedly Victorian attitude about sex among seniors, and a voice that is quaint (and sometimes charming). Chapters like "Normal Coitus" and "Perversions..." betray a rather conservative bent, and the attitudes toward anything but plain vanilla strike me as decidedly pre-Kinsey. This book would be enjoyed by very conservative older couples who want some views about aging sex without any graphic descriptions, but the views promoted seem quite unhelpful to the aging who are seeking solutions to rekindling romance.

If you are seeking a book about sex among seniors, a far better choice would be the award winning  Naked at Our Age: Talking Out Loud About Senior Sex .

From the word go, one can tell that the author is male. There are a few flashes here and there, - maybe input from his wife - that adds a little warmth to this quite "emotional" subject. I also found it somewhat repetitive at times and I think the book could have been a much better product had it been re-written by either a "woman doctor or a woman medical writer."
It contains a lot of very useful information but in a clinically "septic" form, which for me--a married male of 78 years-- I found it to be dry.
