The world’s most popular ninja comic!

Naruto is a young shinobi with an incorrigible knack for mischief. He’s got a wild sense of humor, but Naruto is completely serious about his mission to be the world’s greatest ninja!

It's shades of the influence of Orochimaru when Sasuke names his new ninja cell The Hebi. While Naruto and the others try to keep tabs on Sasuke, their long-lost pal ends up in fierce battle with an old enemy. The outcome could bring the ninja world as Naruto knows it to an end faster than he ever imagined!

About the Author

Author/artist Masashi Kishimoto was born in 1974 in rural Okayama Prefecture, Japan. Like many kids, he was first inspired to become a manga artist in elementary school when he read Dragon Ball. After spending time in art college, he won the Hop Step Award for new manga artists with his story Karakuri. After considering various genres for his next project, Kishimoto decided on a story steeped in traditional Japanese culture. His first version of Naruto, drawn in 1997, was a one-shot story about fox spirits; his final version, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, quickly became the most popular ninja manga in the world. The series would also spawn multiple anime series, movies, novels, video games and more. Having concluded the series in late 2014, Masashi Kishimoto has kept himself busy this year with the side story Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring and writing the story for the latest Naruto movie, Boruto: Naruto the Movie, both of which will focus on the title character's son, Boruto.

Our 11 y/o is finally enjoying to read because of these books. I haven't the slightest clue as to what they are about, but he sure does and he loves them. No more fighting to get him to complete his 1 hour of mandatory reading/day. Often times, he can put the books down ( I am slowly buying him the monster collection of Naruto books that he has wanted.

Perfect condition, I usually get small nicks on the spine or a small bend in the cover (those drive me crazy) but this book came to me shiny, unharmed. A true hot of the press condition.
5 stars.

39 is a big number for manga but even after 39 volumes, Naruto is still one of the best out there!

Naruto Volume 39 contains chapter 350 to 359 and 2 Sasuke bookmarks!

News of Sasuke deafeating Orochimaru spreads quickly, it's not long before Naruto hears of it.
Sasuke names his team Hebi and tells them his plans.
Naruto's search for Sasuke and Sasuke's search for Itachi begins.
We see how Deidara joined Akatsuki.
And Deidara decides to fight either Naruto and Kakashi or Sasuke (depending on who he runs into first)

One of my favourite Naruto volumes because there's a lot of Deidara in this one :)
