About the author
Tim is a midwest guy, born in Ohio, who has lived all over the country. He has been an enlisted soldier in the army, taught at leading universities, and worked as an engineer. He has a PhD in experimental physics. All of his work experience combines to bring a unique vision to his writing.
His strives to bring a unique vision to his novels that twists in reality with visionary twists. The ultimate compliment, in his mind, was a reviewer that could not tell where reality stopped and fiction began.

I have been reading Sherlock Holmes mysteries in the order of publication. I have enjoyed every one of them. I suppose I should emphasize that I am a fan of British Victorian Literature. As police investigations they are seldom complete. It is the writing that I enjoy as much as the mysteries.
In the event that one has heard of Professor Moriarty in regard to Sherlock Holmes, he does finally appear here in the last story, "The Final Problem". I suppose I should also mention that I have found all of these stories on line at no cost. However for .99, I was very glad to have purchased this collection. I am reading and listening to a corresponding audiobook of Sherlock Holmes stories and am really enjoying he experience.
In summary, I have really enjoyed this fine collection. These are stories that adults and children can enjoy. Each story can be read in one or two reasonably length sittings. I am really glad to have come across this collection. Thank You for taking the time to read this review.
Be aware, though, that this is far from the complete Holmes stories. My recommendation for someone wanting a complete collection is to pick up this Kindle e-book: Sherlock Holmes: The Ultimate Collection . It's selling for a modest 99 cents at the present time here on Amazon, and it has essentially everything (see my review for the details: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1XW9M0NM1AQSK/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00DCD53C2).
