In general, Nolo press writes the best Pro-per books available for the layman. I've been using them for over thirty years, still do, and have a complete library of their publications. They've never let me down as to quality, completeness, and accuracy.

Practical application for legal questions.

There is really no useable information in this book. It is too broad and tries to cover too many topics to be of any use, because every section has a paragraph or two about what MIGHT be the law and then ends with "Check the laws in your area....." Well, if I wanted to 'check the laws in my area' I wouldn't have bought the book. The author/publisher should consider creating a book for specific states that has the actual law applicable to the topic.
