This is discusting I was going to give my niece all the books I've got. but I don't even want to pick it up to throw in the trash. there is nasty food stains on the inside and nasty stuff on the front. well you get what you bought. and it says it was from a public library I don't know how many people touched this. I loved this book sorry for the rating.

I first read this book in the 9th grade, it was the first ever book I fell in love with, the first book that I chose and wasn’t forced to read. 5 years later and I’m re reading the book! Even at this age, it has my feet kicking. I love love love this book and its series. Thank you Schreiber!! I definitely recommend reading this book!

Vampire Kisses is that perfect, YA novel with the misunderstood gothic teenager obsessed with the neighborhood's haunted mansion.

When the new inhabitants move in, and rumors of a vampire family begin to swirl around Dullsville, Raven Madison makes it her mission to prove the town wrong. What she does not expect, is to fall in love with the young man in question.

All her life, Raven has been obsessed with vampires, and now it seems her very own paramour might actually be one. Her initial attraction begins with the ludicrous hopes of becoming a vampire, but soon, she realizes just how deep her feelings are for Alexander Sterling and more than anything, just wants to make him feel like he belongs, and that means accepting the fact he is just a teenager who likes to wear black. Or is he?

I devoured this book. The setting reminded me on an old school book I would have read in the '90's which obviously made me relate that much more. It reminded me of why I grew so fond of the YA genre to begin with. Excellent story and I cannot wait to devour more books written by Ms. Schreiber.

I read these books in high school but never finished the series so I am re reading to finish and I forgot how much I loved these types of books! Definitely looking forward to finishing this series and going on to more!

This book is about the unpopular goth girl, Raven, who has been totally head-over-heels with 'the dark side' since she was little. Then the mysterious Alexander moves into the mansion in her town of 'Dullsville' and after a few crash encounters, they hook up. Then Raven has to convince the whole town that Alexander is not, in fact, a vampire as they seem to think.

I was 18 when I picked this book up and I thought it was absolute adorable. It's great for young readers. Don't listen to people who say it sucks -- they're the ones who like steamy scenes and lots of gore. This book is wonderful and so is the rest of the series (of what's out already).

For me, this book is a perfect blend of mystery, romance, friendship and family. I relate a lot to Raven, I was obsessed with black and vampires when I was her age. A little has changed since then but I read this series in high school and to this day, these books will always haunt my heart forever!

I originally read this book in middle school, but moved and the library near me didn’t have this series. I was so sad ;-; especially because my grandmother didn’t think that these books were “healthy” and would hear nothing about getting the books for me. Fast forward to 2017 and I happen to come across the books on amazon. all nine plus the mangas too ;-; it was like living my childhood all over again! I love this series!

I first read this book in high school and was greatly pleased with it. My only question to myself about it was why twilight had gotten international recognitions and fandoms and not this book instead. Now I have ordered it again because of the love to this series and I still love the character and her story. Though she does have a few flaws, then again who doesn't, Raven is a teenager with a popular wish. The wish to become a creature or being that is something other than ordinary or human. She is a goth and her character also reflects this. How I will not spoil for those who are about to buy this book. I can only say that this book successfully manages to show the life of a gothic teenager in high school to its fullest. Being bullied, getting back at people, falling in love and investigating in forbidden places are all included in this story. As a goth myself I can say that almost every single detail about this book has made me pleased with this story and I will continue reading it happily and excited for what new adventures are to come!

If however you do not like vampires, do not like goths and/or believe that twilight vampires are the only real type of vampires, then this book probably won't be the right read for you. I would still greatly recommend it for people who are willing to go into the read with an open mind. Be prepared to find out about the growing up and school experiences of a young goth. :)

This is probably the n-th time i'm reading this series. It starts out pretty fast but it gets slower and better, more meaningful. I think we need childish vampire books too. I only hoped she would have written more of them.

I loved the heroine, plucky, resourceful - so much better than the usual Insipid vampettes. IS there a follow up? Please let there be a follow up.
