This little book has attractive colourful illustrations on every page - but just be aware that this is an 'easy reader' designed for young children ( roughly 7 year olds) i.e. it is not a full unbridged original story.

I was disappointed with it, it has the American spelling 'favorite' (it was originally published in America). The way the text is laid out is unpleasant to read, often there are only 4 words to a line. For some strange reason a comma resulted in the publishers always putting the next word on the line below. This approach reminded me of reading a newspaper column or a poem, but with fewer words per line - the result for me was that it feel like my eyes couldn't scan it in a natural way. The way the story is written is 'choppy', it just doesn't flow. I wanted to like this book, but I just can't.
