A collection of side-splitting stories about the great - and sometimes not too great - outdoors. If you liked reading about Rancid Crabtree and Retch Sweeney, you will love Jackass Jill's stories. In addition to the humor and even some useful facts about life in the wilderness, these stories are sprinkled with insights into human nature. If you are ready to take a break from the thrillers and killers and read something fun and different, this is where you should start.

I enjoyed this dabbling tale of the adventures of a woman and her donkeys out on mining expeditions. What a great career option for an adventurous soul. I enjoyed her stories of life on the trail.
If you love donkeys and love a woman who is cutting her own path in the world...be inspired by this book. I bought a second one to gift to a friend.

siliconhillbilly writing this review.

Many bite sized stories that follow the "in the wilds with donkeys" theme. I learned a lot about pack animal prospecting, with donkeys in particular. I also enjoyed the story telling along the way. Lots of Western American history mixed in. It's hard not to like Jill's writing style.
And it's funny!

You will love the antics from the Donkey's and Jill's amazing adventures into some of the most remote places on the this good earth.
Live the stories as you read, you imagine yourself along for the ride.
Truly a well written collection of real adventures that keep you turning the pages.

This well-written and entertaining book relates all kinds of valuable donkey information through true, first-hand adventure tales. The fact that much of the action happens in areas very familiar to me (Yukon, New Mexico, Colorado) makes for lots of fun.
