Very interesting book about the history of Philly pro basketball. First part focuses on the SPHAS (South Philadelphia Hebrew Association) that played in the 1920s, 30s and 40s; then the Philadelphia Warriors who played from 1946-1962 before moving west to California. Includes some history of the early NBA years and how the game evolved over time. Good narrative, abundant photos and commentary from HOF's Paul Arizin, Tom Gola and statistician Harvey Pollack among others.
