I bought this book for myself and also for my dog loving sister and niece. If you love dogs, you'll roll on the floor laughing.....and yes, at times you'll get a tear in your eyes. Beth Quinn is a bright and witty writer who gets inside the heads of her dogs. A fun read and a great gift for any dog owner.

I just finished reading this wonderful book. It's a collection of columns written by Beth Quinn for my local newspaper The Times Herald Record in Middletown, New York.
Beth is a complete dog lover and a wonderful writer. Her stories of her dogs and kids and family over the years are hysterical, interesting, and just plain fun to read. There were many times when I read this book that I kept laughing out loud and chuckling to myself. I actually had read most or all of these columns as they appeared in our newspaper but loved them all over again last week when I read the book.
Beth Quinn writes a weekly column for The Record. Often it's political, both local and national issues, but her columns may focus on any subject. She writes well, has an interesting perspective, and usually is funny, too.
I sent this book to my cousin in Chicago, Judith, who has two service dogs, and she loved it. She says she's going to buy copies for her friends who are cat people!

If you love dogs (or a dog) this is a great book! Both touching and funny, it gives you a dog's-eye-view of the human/canine relationship. Follow the adventures of Scout, Riley, Huck, Tom and their cohorts as they play games like "Put-the-chewie" and "Bark-at-the-bug". Dogs have opinions too....Scout shares with us why he believes that "Cats are no good".
Thoroughly amusing and enjoyable collection of short doggy tales. (there are some good pics too!)
