this book is a great all round fly tying book. the book lays flat and sits in a book holder very well. the fly patterns are well defined and easy to follow. great book for the tying library.

As a novice Fly Tier, I am always looking for clear tying instructions. This book is nowhere near as easy to follow as Mr. Peter Gathercole's Fly tying Bible is in my opinion. Maybe a person with more experience would not have difficulty with the tying instructions. Interesting patterns, just not as easy to follow as other pattern books I have seen.

This was an excellent source of warm water fly tying information. I have tied trout flies for over twenty years but was not familiar with warm water flies. This book provided that information.

I found this book to be clear and easy to understand for some of my first attempts at tying standard trout bugs. What else can I say.
