One thing I especially liked was the format and the way photos were used to illustrate everything from types of water (runs, riffles, pools, etc.) to casting techniques.
There is just enough on trout biology to educate the angler about their quarry without putting them to sleep. And what is there is mighty interesting.
All in all this is a really well-done book and I would highly recommend to anyone whether a beginner or intermediate angler. One can always learn something new!
