Aitken, a graduate of St Chad's College, University of Durham, and Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, is Research Fellow, Department of Classics, University of Reading, and a member of the AHRB Parkes Centre of the University of Southampton, as well as an Honorary Fellow, Centre for Jewish-Christian Relations, Cambridge.
