Very good bible. I love it for the kids even some grown ups like it. It has a few color pictures and it's much easier to understand. If your looking for a nice Christian bible, that your child or even you can understand then I highly recommend this bible. It is a full complete bible. And the cover is really nice. I chose this book for the easier reading level. However this translation in an attempt to make it easier changed the meaning of some of the verses. Because my son will most likely be using his bible in a group setting where there will be supervision/ guided direction it will work for now. I will definitely be purchasing a new bible in the near future for him and it will not be this translation.

I am in the process of returning this because it is not a complete Bible. This Bible was for my son and it ends at 1 Timothy and then starts over with Genesis. It seems to be a defective Bible. I do like the design and this is the one my son wants that has a shiny cover. I am disappointed that it was sold in that condition.

I think that Gods' Word for boys is a great translation for boys of all ages. There are a variety of dofferent devotions, so you never get bored with the same old thing all the time.
