Can't recommend this book high enough. In all honesty, never looked at the piano chords and I'm a rhythm guitar player who is self taught and been playing since 1962. Saw another fancy chord book over a friend's which had pictures of the hands, and bought it, giving my old Mel Bay guitar book away in the process. Wrong thing to do as the fancy one had many chords left out and calling some chords by other names. This chord book fits in your guitar case, or carry bag, taking up little room and had the most comprehensible collection of chords since the before mentioned book. I don't read music. Ours is the words with the chord change overhead. Sometimes I can't remember the chord pattern, and bingo, boom, always have it on hand wherever I go so I get to jam with anyone I run across where we can't figure out something, we have it at our fingertips. All the guitarists I know carry this paperback and for the money, you shouldn't leave your guitar without it. Two thumbs way up. God bless and make it your best day! :-)

This chord book is a must for any and all keyboard or guitar players. Beginning with some good music theory basics and then providing the fingering for more than 1800 chords (in various positions and structure options), this book is invaluable. Another practical feature is it's size (4" x 6" x 0.5")which conveniently fits in amongst music gear and provides the solutions for those ever present questions on what is "that"? chord or what are the options on how to play it.

When the usual, routine chords are mastered, this book provides the challenge of showing all the other chords which could be added to the musician's "bag of tricks".

Depending on actual useage and personal preference, there is a plastic, spiral binding version of this book.

In conclusion, this refernece book is well worth the purchase cost and is infectious to refer other musicians to. Enjoy!

Having used both the electronic Kindle version and the physical paperback version, I can state that I MUCH prefer the physical paperback version to the Kindle version. The electronic version is simply cumbersome and not nearly as handy as the paperback. That said, this reference is a "must have" in every keyboard and guitar player's library. Look up the fingerings (and inversions) of any chord (or nearly any chord) on the piano and guitar. The first half of the book is all the piano chord diagrams; the second half of the book is all the guitar chord diagrams.

This book really helps with learning songs. Once you get the chord charts, you can find all the chords, and then learn the song and memorize the chords. Definitely worth the purchase price, in my opinion.
