Its a great graphic novel. Its part of an abused child's journey. Daken's story is worth reading; Lui and Way are great writers.

I bought the Dark Wolverine series because it was listed as completing the previous wolverine run (after Old Man Logan) but it's really not - so it's just ok. Daken is a hard character to like because he's so different from everyone else (not just wolverine). he's written to be indecipherable by the other characters in the books but that translates beyond the story so i dont find any way to identify with him. unless you are a wolverine fanatic (I am) and you want to have all the # for continuity's sake (I do) then I can't really recommend this or The Prince (vol 1)
