This tiny pocket size Spanish verb book is terrific for taking on a trip to a Spanish speaking country and you need to use a reference book. If a verb isn't in the main part of the book, you can look it up in the index and you will be referred to another verb which is conjugated in the same way. I recommend this book for studying abroad when every ounce counts towards your airline baggage limit.

This is the second copy I've purchased of this handy little book. I used it all the time back in college when I was taking Spanish. When I heard my brother was studying Spanish, I sent him a copy. It's compact, so great for travel, and it's very readable with an organized color-coded structure. All the important verbs are included, along with a brief overview of Spanish grammar in the introduction of the book.

My pocket dictionary by Langenscheidts, which I give 5 stars to also, has some verbs in tables which is handy. But I wanted to have a small, but fairly comprehensive pocket verb book. It turns out this is better than I could have ever imagined. In the front it shows the tenses and how, when, and why to use them. (It's the same as 501 Spanish Verbs.) What's even better is in the back it has an alphabetical listing in English of all the verbs in the book. If you need to know a verb, you can certainly find it in your pocket dictionary, but seeing it conjugated is extremely helpful whether you're a beginner or someone in an intermediate or advanced level. Most verb conjugations are easy to remember, but if you forget, you can look in this book which is so light and compact, it's incredibly easy to carry. You can't go wrong with this book even if it's the book you'd rather have than 501 Spanish Verbs.

I love this little book because of its small size, easy to handle and a quick reference while in class or doing homework. The only thing that could make it better would be more verbs.

This Spanish Verbs (Baron's Verbs Series) is a convenient small size and is the best, easiest-to-use Spanish verb book I've ever seen. So helpful when taking Spanish classes. You can look up the Spanish word and/or the English word. Indispensable!

Lots of information, however print is very small

I've been studying Spanish for a number of years. There are other verb books out there (some contain more verbs), and I have most of them. This version is clearly organized and makes a point of delineating which ones are most important, including their idiomatic uses (more idioms than in most verb books). The page layout is easy, and verb tenses and their construction and rules of use are included, as are practice pages for each form of conjugation. At the back of the book there is a section for verb which deviate from the norm in their form and usage. Two CDs are included, but i have not tried them out.

This is an essential book for students of Spanish language. I used this book constantly as a student (over ten years ago ;), and now, as a tutor of high school Spanish language students, I urge all my students to make the small investment for this indispensable book. It has all the same information as "501 Spanish Verbs," but in a much more convenient "travel size." HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

5.0 out of 5 stars 英語の動詞のインデックスがあります。
Reviewed in Japan on February 4, 2010

5.0 out of 5 stars Must-Have Reference Material
Reviewed in Canada on July 9, 2015
I am a Spanish instructor and I feel this is an absolute "must-have".
This little book is organized neatly and intuitively. At the beginning, it gives the reader/learner a nice explanation of all the verb tenses which helps understand their differences.
