I got this for a project other than oragami because it had the best, most original, double sided designs. I found no other that was as sturdy and brilliant as this set. We made lots of holiday ornaments with them that looked like this: [...] but it's way more fun & creative to buy this box of oragami art & make them really colorful. The paper is what I'd consider sort of sturdy & nice & glossy. It's easy to work with & doesn't tear easily like some others. The kids ended up making some origami from the instructions & said they were easy to follow.

Instructions were clear with great graphics to show you how to do the folds.
Projects were fun and creative. It's the way to start learning Origami.

These designs are downright lovely critters. A leaping frog. Wonderful sea turtle. All the designs have a high level of detail but are still attainable for even a relative novice. The papers have beautiful designs on both sides and are slick and shiny to add just the right sparkle to the finished product. I do wish the.book itself were larger so the detail in the instructional pictures was easier for me to see. But it was worth it.
