This book is written in a very informative manner. There is tons of information on each page both in the body of the text as well as on the side margins. The book's format is to ask questions and then answer them on the following page. Some of the illustrations are vivid and somewhat silly to appeal to younger readers. I enjoyed reading it to my young son because we were able to "discover" together. There were a lot of facts that I didn't know and this book helped make the information easier to understand. I would recommend this to a friend.

My daughter is 5yrs old and enjoys egypt things right now. We are trying to find anything to keep her interest going. This book is perfect for little ones. The illustrations are colorful to keep the little ones interest peaked and not get bored fast and written so they can understand and still learn!

This book was great. My son is learning about Egypt in his gifted class, and so I purchased some things to supplement his learning. He really enjoyed reading this book. It is an easy read, and informative enough for his age.

If your young ones are showing an interest in Egypt as our 5 year old is, this is a fine book. Its been several weeks since purchase and it has kept his interest.

This is a beautifully illustrated book. I bought it for my friend's daughter for Christmas. The only reason I did not rate it five stars is because I thought the age range described was slightly higher than it should be,

My 6 year old loves Egyptology. So, we have already purchased many coloring books, stickers, ect. I thought this would contain new things, but it is just a repackage of things we have purchased individually. They are all good, but we already have most of it.

My students love this book. It gives them fun facts about Ancient Egypt in a way that is easy to understand. The students love looking at the pictures which draws them in to reading the text.

My daughter really wanted to dive into the whole egyptian thing. After going to the library and borrowing not so kid friendly books this was refreshing. Easy to read and fun facts.
