Boy was I glad I looked on Amazon for this book. At the college bookstore and other local bookstore this was at least 500% more expensive. Everyone in my class couldn't believe how cheap I paid for mine and the decent shape that it was in. Saved this college student plenty of $$.

I love this book! It has some great resources within it. I learned a lot about sequencing teaching through reading this and also was reminded about how important music is to the development of the child.

In the next edition I hope Campbell will include more details...this is from the perspective of one who has observed, but doesn't seem they have taught a very long time. I could be wrong as it has been quite a long time since I read it, but I recall searching this book for answers and not really finding any once I entered the teaching profession.

This is a great music education textbook. It provides information on multiple strategies of music education as well as many songs you can include in your teaching.

This book is great for anyone who wish to use music as a tool in their work with children. Numerous examples of musical lessons give a good picture of how to plan and build musical activities for kids.
