This title has not yet been released.

Slapper and Kelly’s The English Legal System explains and critically assesses how our law is made and applied. Annually updated, this authoritative textbook clearly describes the legal rules of England and Wales and their collective influence as a sociocultural institution.

The English Legal System greets a new decade by responding to the latest legislation and case law as well as providing new material on topics such as the new Supreme Court; the criminal justice system; the remodelled legal professions and human rights and European law. Further to this coverage, the book benefits from an increased level of cross-referencing with its highly acclaimed Companion Website.

Adopted by generations of students, Slapper and Kelly’s The English Legal System is a permanent fixture in this ever evolving subject.

Brought this book before starting the AQA AS Law at Richard Huish College. My Law tutor also found the book very good for the diagrams and facts which is not always in the AS Law books.

2.0 out of 5 stars Review and return or exchange of book
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 18, 2014
All the books seeem to be fantastic, however I am not pleased with THE ENGLISH LEGAL SYSTEM by Gary Slapper and David Kelly. It should have been 12th edition and hence I can't use it for my work for it is not an updated book as recommended by my uni in my reading list for my module.

I therefore would like it to be exchanged for the one on my reading list and that which I really need please.

How do I go about that?
