This is a good textbook with an introductory but strategic view of the field. STRONG POINTS: The chapters are long, and the professor can dose them according to the level of the students, so that it suits very well MBA - Undergrad mixed classes; you can assign different levels of reading and tasks for each group of students. It is very well written, and it has a really internatinal approach of International Management; many books in this field and in International Business field are, paradoxally, too USA centered, in a way that they are no good even for american students, who should be exposed to an international culture when looking for this kind of courses. It has examples, mini-cases and task assignments, all very uptodate. WEAK POINTS: the data, figures and tables, however are not uptodated: most are from 2000-2001, and that was not fixed in the new edition. The students complain a little about it. The online support with cases and exercises is very weak, and mostly supplied by the author himself, the editor website brings almost anything about it. I hope they fix this situation in the near future, or they may spoil an otherwise very good material.
