Lots of great information in this textbook. I enjoyed the class, which was learning to communicate, and give speeches. I particularly liked the fact that i could allow the book to read to me. That helped studying as i have a migraine nearly constantly. My vision is blurred, and it gets difficult to focus.

After reading half this textbook for my Communications class, I went online and bought THINK Psychology for a friend who teaches psychology. It is informative and entertaining and best of all, it is really well organized.

This is a nice book, and full of useful information. The weird thing to me is that I am using it for a psychology class, but hey it is a great book! So I honestly have no complaints about it, came in great condition. Amazon is a great place to buy books from

Very well illustrated, bright and attention grabing pictures, and it look like a modern version of this material. So if your taking speech 1311 this is a great book.

The book has a lot of principles and great concepts of how to maximize the benefits of communication. Without a great teacher to interpret the text, it can get a little boring to read, however it does cover valuable concepts. If you're not buying this book for a class, I recommend checking out the book's website because it pretty much summarizes every chapter and has 45min long audio text explaining each chapter. I Would only really buy the book if you need a hard copy for reference, otherwise the website would do just fine if all you need is a summary.
If you do buy the book, I recommend amazon. They have the best prices and the best customer service. Support amazon! =)

I barely used this book so I have little to say. It helped me get an A in my class but not as much as you would think. YMMV
