so much is written today from a feminist perspective that really doesn't understand where a man is coming from. Many programs seek to take his dignity away from him leaving him feeling emasculated. This book recognizes that a man needs to be part of the solution, and therefore it encourages him to develop his own plan for change and then seeks to keep him accountable. I wish that all Abuse programs would consider using this book.
