About the author
Melanie Anjele Cameron has dedicated her career to improving
business processes and business systems, especially in the areas of
finance and accounting. Always a strong believer in the sharing of
knowledge about computer systems and how to use them, she has been
the chairperson for the AZOAUG, the Phoenix-area Oracle applications
users group, for the past seven years, participating not only in
scheduling the events, but also as a lecturer. Her career has taken her
from a transaction processing clerk to an executive during an IPO, as
well as co-owner of her husband's business, leaving her knowledge
of business well rounded and in depth, from detailed transactions to their broader impact on the business itself. Lucky to find an organization where this breadth of knowledge can be used to assist other companies, Melanie now manages the Oracle Applications at Southwest Windpower, finally being able to combine her knowledge of Oracle with her passion for clean tech.
While participating in the high-tech world of business, Melanie keeps her feet firmly planted in the low-tech world of needlework, spending most of her nonworking hours knitting and creating pieces of art with a needle, including needlepoint and Japanese embroidery. This, combined with a love for good food and cooking, helps to keep the pressures of our high-tech society at bay. Melanie lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband, Bill, and two dogs, Josie and Yuki.

Nothing compelling or overwhelming insightful - which is generally the realm of the Tom Kyte tomes - yet a very solid, well-organized reference useful on recent USAF Oracle 11.5.10 implementation.
Overall, a very good book serving a niche which, in general, is rarely attempted: to concisely, logically, and methodically cover and provide a reference to Oracle Procure-to-Pay.
And one hopes the Oracle ERP book offerings continues to evolve building on this example.
I don't even have words to describe how good this book is. I'm an Oracle ERP professional and I'm very impressed with the content of this book. This book is ease to read, with setups step by step with screen shots, very well organized with flows and tips and a lot more.
Finally an author that understands how hard is to find good and explanatory information about Oracle when you need it.

processes involved at the setup time of procure-to-pay.
In fact i did not want to see another book telling what i should
care about just to know after that that with another patch the problem was changed, and with another minor release anoher problem has appeared.
writing short about applications is difficult. so i think in overage the
book fullfills the target of basic information about the usage and setup of
procure to pay components. I missed though a bit more clear structure.
