(Lange Pharm book is good, but you could do without)
Between Rohen's, Gray's, Harrison's, Lippincott's illustrated review of biochem, and Blumenfeld's Neuroanatomy; you can pretty much count on year one being covered. The money you save can be spent on BRS.
The content is exactly as I expected, and it is printed on quality paper. My only problem with this edition is that although readable and crisp, the size of the print is too small (and I have good eyes). Even with the small print, the work is 2754 pages without the TOC, preface, summaries, appendices or indices. The two volume set is welcome over the one volume version for ease of portability. Each volume weighs approximately 5 lbs. 7oz.
I have not yet reviewed the CD that comes with the book.
The thing I appreciate most is the fact in wich you have the entire cycle of the medicine into and describe in a master form that I've finded only in "Harrison". The other things you make not is that the book consider you an idiot and in his end makes you a genius...a miracle isn't it.That's what we needs "miracles"...
