The prince of pleasure . . .
To the ton, he is a wealthy and powerful royal, the dashing and enigmatic Prince Thomas of Sabedoria. And to Lady Margaret Blackmore, he is irresistible. Innocent in the ways of true passion, Maggie has lived a life chaste and proper—until now. Mad with a desire unlike anything she's felt before, she would do anything to tempt Thomas to her bed. But he hides a damning secret . . .
In truth, Thomas is no prince. He is Thomas Thorne, sent away for a crime he did not commit. Hell-bent on revenge, he would do anything to destroy his worst enemy, even seduce the man's innocent sister. But he did not count on the one thing that could spoil his perfect plan—falling in love with the beautiful lady in question. Now he must choose between his fervent wish for justice and his devotion to his tempting conquest . . .

About the author
As a nice, sane break from the drama and fast pace of working as a registered nurse in an intensive care unit, Margo Maguire returned to college to study history, and fell in love. Writing about the historical characters she encountered in her classes was a good way to unwind from a crazy day in the unit. She soon started creating her own fictional characters and putting them into historical settings.
Margo is the author of twenty historical romance novels. Her books have been published in numerous languages, and have even come out in Japan as manga--animated books. She is the mother of three grown children and lives with her scientist husband in southern Michigan.
Margo participates in Romance Writers of America's yearly Literacy Signing, and does local book signings with every new release. She has given talks on writing and research techniques, and is a featured author at http://jauntyquills.com/, a blog she shares with eleven other romance authors. She is a regular contributor to the Avon Romance forums and sends out bulletins with Fresh Fiction and Eye on Romance. Now that he's released, he's traveling back to England, under the guise of a foreign prince. He's ready to take revenge on the men who ruined his life. Things are going fine, until he realizes one of the men is dead. But he's left behind a widow and two children. A very alluring widow.
Lady Margaret Blackmore is devastated to learn that her husband not only cheated on her, but left her in great debt when he died. She's always been an outcast with her family so she can expect no help from them.
But then a handsome man saves her son from certain death. He happens to be a visiting price and he touches a place inside her that's never been touched. When he expresses interest she's flabbergasted, and secretly thrilled.
Will Tom use Maggie for his own devices, or will he give in to the love he feels for her and give up his need for revenge?
The Rogue Prince is captivating and engaging. Ms. Maguire has created realistic characters that I felt instant affinity for and wanted to get to know more. They were people that I could see myself being friends with and caring about.
The story is wonderfully plotted and thoroughly entertaining. It was my first Margo Maguire novel, but it won't be my last. If you enjoy historical romance then this is one you should pick up

Reading some sections were lessons on how to endure torture. Some of the descriptions during the love scenes were very stereotypically old school bad romance. At some point they "...meld their bodies and souls." I didn't realize I was reading a Star Trek novel in disguise. Was this perhaps a program run on the holodeck?
I had to skip the sections discussing her womb surging and quivering. I'm not saying you have to be crude, but this was a bit...is cheesy the word I'm looking for?
I say skip this novel and read The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas instead. The Count of Monte Cristo
