5.0 out of 5 stars Memories

This is a superb read by a wonderful writer. Very humorous. It to me is what fishing is all about, the people you meet on the journey. As I knew and fished with many of people mentioned, Dick Walker, Oliver Kite, John Goddard etc, and in many of the places mentioned, it brings back good memories of happenings that were not significant at the time, but in hindsight are to be cherished.

5.0 out of 5 stars relaxed fly. fishing

Brian looks at the art in a very relaxed and yet thoughtful way.I found this a pleasant change from the norm as I am a very competitive fisherman by nature.Brian just enjoys the art and expresses it in a prosaic way
