Alan J. Richardson is professor and chair of the accounting area at the Schulich School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. from Queen's University and is an FCGA and Life Member of the Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario. He was the founding editor of "Canadian Accounting Perspectives" and currently sits on the editorial boards of ten academic journals. His research focuses on the regulation of audit practice rights.
